A fully equipped kot

  • Two apartments, each for three students.
  • Each apartment has a communal kitchen, a living space with furniture and two bathrooms.
  • Every room is furnished: there is a bed with a slatted frame, closet, desk, desk chair, bookshelf and stool.

What does it cost?

  • The monthly rent consists of:
    • a set net rental price;
    • a set cost for internet;
    • a deposit for the use of utilities;
    • possible taxes.
  • As from 302 euro per month plus extra costs as specified above.
  • Utilities are billed based on your actual use.
  • There is a set bond of 500 euro.

Op Kot - Project Oasis - een match?

Project Oasis and you: a match?

  • You’re a team player: you form a team with your fellow students and you’re socially engaged.
  • You take initiative: you organise activities that stimulate meetings between residents.
  • You’re communicative: you take part in the consultations with residents and partners. Basic knowledge of Dutch and French is required.

The rooms are reserved for students from institutions partnering with Brik (VUB, EhB, Odisee, LUCA, KU Leuven Brussels campuses). This project is run in collaboration with the Erasmushogeschool STUVO organisation and the municipality of Jette.

How do you sign up for a Project Oasis student room?

  • April/May: submit your candidature and your letter of motivation using the contact form at the bottom of the page.
  • June: selection interviews
  • July: visit the student rooms and sign the tenancy agreement.
  • 15 September: the start of your Project Oasis adventure.
  • September/October: project meetings start.
