Theatre, underground rave parties, a world-famous opera: Brussels cultural scene is booming. Classic institues like KVS or de Munt offer the absolute best in the scene. The big fishes are joined by smaller, independent houses offering a more experimental approach. Together, they make sure there is always a cultural discovery around the cornern. 

Sound of Sprouts

Sound of Sprouts is the music contest for Brussels’ students and is the new umbrella organization for the former Rockrace & BXL Student DJ Contest.
Sound of Sprouts takes place annually, one year for live acts and the other year for DJs.

All styles are welcome: from pop to rock and from hip hop to reggae. The organization selects 6 artists who will compete in two semi-finals where a professional jury chooses 4 artists for the final at the AB Club!

Theatre

Brussels boasts a few large, classic institutions where you can watch a Europe’s best directors and actors: opera at De Munt,  theatre at KVS, BOZAR or Kaaitheater. Museums

If you don’t know you’re way around the city yet, the cultural off might be a bit cloudy. That’s why we’re here.You’ve got the classics and a bit more out-of-the-box museums.
