The BrikBike Routes bring you back to your campus in no time. All routes have been selected by PedalBXL bikers: not too many crates and as few slopes as possible! In addition, they carry you along a few nice Brussels spots, ideal for a moment of breath. Looking for a relaxing trip? Then you can try one of the BikeFun Routes.
UPHILL FROM THE CENTRE
IN 11 OR 12 MINUTES
When heading to the VUB in Etterbeek or campus Narafi from the centre, you can’t escape the hills of Brussels. Bicycle courier Karel took the test and shows how fast you can climb the slopes on a Villo! bike.
VUB & EHB CAMPUS KAAI
Chillax near the canal
Cycling to Campus Kaai from the city centre is a piece of cake . The level roads and canal views make it an easy ride. Take the insider-route from the centre and enjoy the pretty colourful sights when heading back.
VUB & EHB CAMPUS JETTE
Campus Jette far off? Oh no it isn’t!
We found a fast route filled with romantic charm, leisurely terraces and a hint of green. You would even forget you’re in the capital of Europe! Nathalie returned to her days as a student and tested this fin bicycle route.
VUB CAMPUS ETTERBEEK
Wanna work out?
The good news: you can just slide back to the city centre from the VUB! The bad news is that the ride towards the campus is just a little bit harder on the legs. Bicycle courier Thomas took on the challenge and went to and from the centre in just one take, keeping his feet fixed on the pedals at all times and without breaking a single rule of conduct.
LUCA CAMPUS NARAFI
ON THE CITY’S ROOFTOP
Narafi is located at one of the highest points in Brussels. A climb in unavoidable, but the nice ride through fancy Ixelles and quaint Saint-Gilles is worth your while. Ending up in one of Brussels’ nicest parks is just an extra perk.
LUCA CAMPUSES PALEIZENSTRAAT
BIG CITY LIFE
A ride to the LUCA-campuses in Schaarbeek is like taking a city trip in your own town. It’s the perfect way to discover this colourful, lively area! Bicycle courier Karel did exactly that when delivering a package in Schaarbeek.
Brussels boasts a few green hidden gems. A bottle of wine, a baguette and an chunk of cheese and you’re ready to go! Follow Luana on her tour from one green spot to the next.
